PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Existing Pump Room Enhancements project is upgrading nine pump rooms at four locations in the Bronx and Manhattan to improve flood protection and system reliability.
Work includes new emergency generator connections and platforms above the Design Flood Elevation (DFE), raised and hardened pump control panels, upgraded electrical and communication conduits, and replacement of all emergency pumps. Additional improvements include upgraded piping and installation of backflow prevention valves to enhance system resilience.
