At 42nd Street-Bryant Park, the work includes three new mezzanine-to-platform elevators, a new street-level elevator, reconfigured stairs, new ADA-compliant fare control gates and boarding areas, and upgraded fire alarm and life-safety systems. At 5th Avenue, the work includes a new platform elevator, ADA boarding area, and platform-edge SOGR work. Retail base-building upgrades at Times Square-42nd Street and Grand Central-42nd Street include HVAC, electrical, water, and sprinkler system improvements to prepare spaces for future tenants.

IVY Engineering Group (IVY) is providing a Safety Manager and Construction Inspector on behalf of MTA C&D across all four stations, supporting safety oversight and construction inspection through construction and closeout.
