PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Project Management Consultant Services for ADA Accessibility Upgrades and Station Renewal (Package 9) project provides ADA-compliant elevator installations and related station renewal work at three New York City Transit stations in Queens and Brooklyn: Parsons Boulevard (Queens Boulevard Line), Briarwood (Queens Boulevard Line), and Gates Avenue (Jamaica Line). Procured by MTA Construction & Development Company (“MTA C&D”) under a Design-Build delivery model, the work includes installation of seven new ADA-accessible elevators and machine rooms, new ADA boarding areas and platform edge reconstruction, lead abatement, and station renewal work at Parsons Boulevard and Briarwood, including structural repairs and restoration of architectural finishes, platform edges, and station stairs.
IVY Engineering Group (IVY) is providing a Construction Inspector and Office Engineer on behalf of MTA C&D for the Package 9 ADA accessibility and station renewal program, supporting construction oversight, inspection, and project administration through Substantial and Final Completion.
